The 2026 Brennan Rehabilitation Fund Annual Meeting and Socrates Awards Ceremony was held March 1st at the Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette, IL. The Foundation was honored to have Andrew J. Valadka as the featured guest speaker at this year’s event. After a life-altering high school football accident, Andrew chose a path of resilience, purpose, and perseverance. Today, as a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., he exemplifies the extraordinary heights possible when determination defines one’s journey.
The 2025 Brennan Rehabilitation Foundation Casino Night Fundraiser will be held Saturday, November 1st, 7PM CT at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, IL. Join us for a night of games, prizes, auction items and golf skills competition!
The Brennan Rehabilitation Foundation plans to participate in the 2025 Lake Forest Days Parade in downtown Lake Forest in August. A convertible Jeep with the foundation’s logo will be followed by our Junior Board Members passing out candy and index cards explaining the foundation’s mission and where to donate!
2025 Annual Meeting
On Sunday, March 2nd, the 2024 Socrates Award recipients were honored at the Brennan Rehabilitation Foundation’s Annual Board and Advisory Board meeting. The Brennan Rehabilitation Foundation was also pleased to host Amanda Hogle, Recreational Therapist with Shriners Children’s Hospital, who was the event’s honored guest speaker. Amanda’s presentation covered recreational opportunities available to SCI individuals, including both group and individual exercise options.
